Mangart erea is one of the most impressive mountain scenery in the Julian Alps. With the fixed cables on the slovenian side of the mountain, even novices can experience the high alpine climb. The Via Ferrata climbs the slovenian route on the north-west side of the mountain where you summit on the Mangart Peak at 2,679 m (8789 ft). This trip allows beginners to experience a mountaineering environment without requiring technical climbing skills.
